DNV will show off fuel cell technology in Copenhagen

Norwegian classification society DNV is planning to prove that shipping is doing its part to improve the environment by showing off its latest fuel cell technology onboard an offshore support vessel that will be moored in the port of Copenhagen during the December global environment talks in the Danish capital.
A company spokesman told SMI that the technology developed as part of DNV’s Orcelle projects would be installed on a vessel during the talks.
