New SC solar array to aid hydrogen research

AIKEN, S.C. — A new array of solar panels to help research hydrogen power is being unveiled in a South Carolina city.

Officials from Santee Cooper, Aiken County and the Center for Hydrogen Research gather Friday for the dedication of the 20-kilowatt array Center for Hydrogen Research’s Savannah River Campus.

Officials say the new solar panel array will be used to further research into different hydrogen applications.
