The ITC Proposes a National Hydrogen Superhighway
Publication Date: 22-July-04
Source: Interstate Traveler Project
The ITC announces unique identifier addressing system that will serve an unlimited number of autonomous vehicles on a national transit network. The ITC National Hydrogen Superhighway will use a nested domain naming system similar to the Internet to manage a growing, reconfigurable and interconnecting national transit network supporting an unlimited number of vehicles and subnetworks.

The ITC National Hydrogen Superhighway is a collection of necessary municipal utilities bundled into what we call the Conduit Cluster providing a "first of its kind" full integration of solar powered hydrogen production and distribution with a high speed maglev public transit network within the right of way of the US Interstate Highway System, and any other permissible right of way where such a system would be of benefit.

The Interstate Traveler, also known as the ITC Rail, is accessed by Traveler Stations that are built within the right of way of the Interstate Highway such as the land locked real-estate in the clover leaf interchanges. The ITC Rail is designed to provide maximum ease of access for people who live anywhere near the Interstate Highway without the disruption of existing transportation systems.

To facilitate this national transit network, the ITC is integrating a nested domain naming system to insure the reliable cooperation of an unlimited number of transit vehicles on a public rail network.
