LONDON --Air Products & Chemicals (NYSE:APD) Innc has won a 3.4 mln stg contract to provide hydrogen fuel for London's planned fleet of hydrogen buses, the capital's transport authority said.

Air Products will also build and maintain hydrogen refuelling stations needed to power the 10 hydrogen buses, Transport for London (TfL) said in a statement.

Market rates at the time of the buses' entry into service will determine the cost of the fuel, TfL added.

TfL said in November that it had signed a contract with ISE to deliver the buses and a deal with FirstGroup PLC to run them.
