| Intelligent
Energy is to take part in a UK delegation to Delhi, India in mid January
2008.
The
company has been invited by United Kingdom Trade & Investment (UKTI),
the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) and the East Midlands
Development Agency (EMDA) to take part in a number of automotive industry
activities in the region.
Intelligent Energy will be participating
in the UK Pavilion at Auto Expo 2008, from the 10th to the 17th January.
Auto Expo is the largest event of its kind in India, with over 1200 participants
and 150,000 business visitors expected. Other participants in the UK Pavilion
include Triumph and Lotus.
Commercial Director Thomas Bennett
has also been invited to speak at the associated “Advanced Vehicle Engineering
Seminar” to be held on the 14th of January in Delhi and organised by the
Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM). He will discuss the
application of Intelligent Energy’s fuel cell power systems for automotive
propulsion and the company’s partnering business model in relation to the
Indian auto industry.
In addition Intelligent Energy has
been invited by Lord Jones, Minister of State for Trade and Investment
and Lord Bilimoria, Chair of the UK-India Business Council to participate
in an Advanced Engineering Round Table, a high level initiative to discuss
investment in both countries and technical co-operation between India and
the UK. Commercial Director Thomas Bennett and VP of Business Development
Dennis Hayter will represent the company at this invitation-only event.
