Tokyo (JCNN) - Toho Gas (TSE: 9533), Nippon Steel (TSE: 5401), and Nippon Sanso (TSE: 4091) have announced plans to jointly construct hydrogen stations for fuel cell buses within the premises of the 2005 World Exposition to be held in Aichi Prefecture beginning in March 2005.

The three companies will construct two hydrogen stations with a filling capacity four times larger than the conventional. This will allow large vehicles including buses to be filled within a fast 10 minutes.

The two hydrogen stations will be used for the buses connecting the Nagakute and Seto venues.
