SPOKANE, Wash.--ReliOn, the leading provider of high reliability fuel cell solutions for backup power applications, today announced it has crossed a major milestone in its commercial sales efforts. ReliOn has shipped more than one million Watts worth of fuel cell product to customers.
ReliOn's hydrogen fuel cell products provide highly reliable, low maintenance backup power for customer sites needing between 600 Watts and 12 kilowatts of power. The company has been shipping commercial product since 2004. The milestone equates to over four hundred commercial customer sites.
"ReliOn reached the megawatt milestone near the end of November. We will exceed 1.3 million Watts delivered by year end. ReliOn is very pleased to work with our customers in meeting their goals of providing robust and reliable communications services," remarked Joe Blanchard, ReliOn's Vice President, Product Line Management.
ReliOn's current products, the T-1000(R) and T-2000(TM) fuel cell systems, are designed specifically for telecommunication applications and are certified to UL, CSA, CE, NEBS Level 3 and FCC standards.
