Voller Energy Group PLC, a leading developer of fuel cell systems, is pleased to announce that it has secured Barcelona-based Disvent Ingenieros S.A. as its distributor in Spain, the Balearic and Canary Islands.  Disvent will distribute the 1kW Emerald fuel cell system across Voller’s key target markets of construction and leisure.

Voller is also pleased to announce that, in conjunction with Ecofys International, part of the Ecoconcern Group and a leading European company in the field of sustainable energy, the Emerald system is to be used to power a mobile warning trailer on motorways across The Netherlands.  The compact system provides quiet, clean electricity in remote areas and has been awarded the Small Business Innovation Research award by the Minister of Transport, Public Works and Water Management in The Netherlands.

Stephen Voller, Chief Executive of Voller Energy commented, “We are delighted to have secured entry into the Spanish and Dutch markets via our work with Disvent in Spain and Ecofys in The Netherlands.  The Emerald system is the first commercial fuel cell system to run off liquefied petroleum gas (LPG, propane or Calor Gas) and provides a clean and quiet alternative to traditional remote electricity generation.  We look forward to working with Ecofys and Disvent as we develop our network across Europe.”
