"We are pleased to have provided equipment to this project and congratulate Chevron with successfully constructing and commissioning the Selfridge fueling station," said Dan Rabun, business development manager for Hydrogen Energy Systems at Air Products. "This is the second demonstration fueling station designed by Chevron for which we provided equipment. We are pleased this collaborative relationship continues to work toward advances in hydrogen fueling in system equipment, engineering, and all aspects of safety, operability, and reliability."
In May 2007, Air Products provided similar hydrogen technology for a Chevron demonstration fueling station in Florida. The Chevron project, located near the Orlando Airport, is fueling a fleet of shuttle buses powered by modified internal combustion engines.
