 Massachusetts Hydrogen Coalition Major Participant in 2007 Clean Energy Conference

Governor Deval Patrick to Speak on Energy Industry Growth

BEVERLY, MA--The Massachusetts Hydrogen Coalition, The Massachusetts Technology Transfer Center (MTTC), and the MIT Enterprise Forum in conjunction with major sponsoring organizations, announce the third annual Conference on Clean Energy at the Hynes Convention Center, Boston, October 29-30, 2007.

A highlight of the Conference is the large number of innovative hydrogen and fuel cell companies participating throughout the two-day Conference, showcasing leading advancements in hydrogen production, storage and applications.

According to Brad Bradshaw, President of the Massachusetts Hydrogen Coalition and Velerity Management Consulting, "This year's Conference is bringing together the most innovative hydrogen and fuel cell companies in the country. Participating companies will be showcasing their global leadership in portable power for military applications, cost-effective forklift solutions, high pressure hydrogen production, and even renewable hydrogen production utilizing microbes."

Attendees will be able to see fifty presentations over two days, covering every aspect of commercial opportunities and developments in clean energy. Specific panels include Solar, Wind, Biofuels, Hydrogen & Fuel Cells, and Efficiency and Demand Response. In addition, 18 new companies will present their business plans to potential investors, two panels will be covering Project Finance and Venture Capital, while a new panel addresses how companies are formed within universities.

The Featured Speaker for Conference is Massachusetts' Governor Deval Patrick. Keynote speakers include Ian Bowles, Secretary, Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs of Massachusetts; Warren Leon, Director, Massachusetts Technology Collaborative Renewable Energy Trust; and Robyn Beavers, Director of Environmental Programs, Google.

Featured hydrogen and fuel cell companies include: Acumentrics, Advent Technologies, Avalence, CTP Hydrogen, ElectroChem, Hy9 Corporation, Living Power, Nuvera Fuel Cells, Protonex Technology Corporation, Quantum Dynamics and Safe Hydrogen.
