MORRISVILLE, N.C.--INI Power Systems, Inc. (INI), the developer of direct methanol Laminar Flow Fuel Cell (LFFCa) products is pleased to announce the appointment of Steve A. Gallo as the Company's Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Gallo's chief responsibilities will be to manage the advanced development and commercialization of the company's patented Laminar Flow Fuel Cells along three portable power product lines: dismounted soldier/military applications, commercial/industrial and consumer electronics.
"INI is a leading contender to bring fuel cell systems to market enabling functionality, improved operating lifetime and enhanced performance for portable applications. INI is targeting performance and cost objectives with our unique LFFCa technology that can make fuel cell systems accessible to high volume consumer electronics markets," said Mr. Gallo. "I am excited to join a dynamic company with such exceptional prospects for growth and I look forward to leading INI in its next phase of advanced development and commercialization."
Mr. Gallo has 20 plus years experience in general business management of growth initiatives and new product offerings, primarily in the high technology sector of electronic materials, components and communications. He most recently served in a number of leadership positions in DuPont's Electronics and Communications Technologies platform where he had P&L and business leadership responsibility in the areas of authentication devices, PDP and OLED display components and multilayer ceramic IC packages. He holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Delaware.
