 Canadian Hydrogen Association to speak at the NY Hydrogen Expo

Terry Kimmel, Executive Director of the CHA, will speak at the New York Hydrogen Expo, to be held in Albany, New York.

The Hydrogen Expo on July 30, 2007 is held in conjunction with the New Energy Symposium, which is held the following day. Senator Charles Schumer and Chairman, CEO of Keyspan, Robert Catell are co-chairs of the event. The event is organized in partnership with the Energetics, the National Hydrogen Association, and NYSERDA (a New York state agency). This year 300 to 400 individuals are expected to attend the two-day event. Additional information can be found by clicking New Energy Symposium.

As part of the Hydrogen Expo, a "ride and drive" event is being organized for attendees, similar to the event hosted by NHA. Several companies are already confirmed including General Motors, BMW, Mercedes, Honda, Hyundai and AWP&H, amongst others. The list of invited and confirmed speakers includes Amory Lovins from Rocky Mountain Institute, Congresswoman Gillibrand, Congressman McNulty, Assemblyman Paul Tonko, Lt. Governor Paterson and our Chairs Senator Schumer and CEO, Robert Catell of Keyspan. Companies confirmed to speak at the event include General Electric, General Motors, Plug Power, UTC, Einhorn Yaffee & Prescott A&E, Keyspan Energy, New York Power Authority, New York Energy Research & Development Authority, Earthrise Capital, Lazard Capital, NYSEIA, BP Solar, AWS True Wind, NYAS, Nichols Institute, Northeast Biofuels.
