H2
Logic has just finished the delivery of a H2 Truck V2 and refueling unit
for Samsø Energy Academy. The Truck was delivered during an official
ceremony on the island of Samsø. The ceremony was covered by the
international BBC TV-station and national TV2News. The delivery of the
H2 Truck and refueling unit is the last one in the famous H2 Truck Test
Project where six other vehicles and three refueling units are in operation
at hospitals and city centers in the cities of Holstebro, Herning and Aarhus,
all placed in Region Central Denmark.
As a continuation of the famous H2
Truck version 1 from 2004 H2 Logic started the development of a version
2 H2 Truck the same year together with the vehicle manufacturer A. Flensborg
A/S. At the same time H2 Logic also started the development of one of the
first metal hydride refueling units in the world.
In the beginning of 2006 six H2 Truck
versions 2 was put in operation on hospitals and city centers in the cities
of Holstebro, Herning and Aarhus in Region Central Denmark along with the
establishment of a refueling unit in each of the cities. Since early 2006
the six H2 Trucks have been in operation for more than 4000 hours without
any major breakdowns in operation.
The delivery of yet an H2 Truck for
Samsø Energy Academy clearly underlines the fact that the H2 Truck
is Europe’s first batch produced hydrogen vehicle of its kind.
All together H2 Trucks and refueling
units are in operation in the following cities and locations in Region
Central Denmark:
• One H2 Truck and one refueling
unit at Holstebro Hospital
• Two H2 Trucks in Herning city
center and water treatment plant
• One H2 Truck and one refueling
unit at Herning Hospital
• Two H2 Trucks and one refueling
unit at Skejby Hospital in Aarhus
• One H2 Truck and one refueling
unit at Samsø Energy Academy
