ROCHESTER,
N.Y., and BARRINGTON, Ill. -- Greater Rochester Enterprise (GRE) announced
today that it is sponsoring "Fuel Cell 2007," a major industry conference
presented by Fuel Cell Magazine. Participants will learn about the latest
developments in fuel cell technology at this fourth annual conference Thursday,
June 14 and Friday, June 15 at the Hyatt Regency in Rochester, N.Y.
Fuel Cell 2007 is designed for organizations interested in learning more about fuel cell technology. The conference provides an interactive forum for OEMs, designers, engineers and integrators to discuss the latest advancements in the industry. The event will feature presentations from technology-leading companies discussing the innovations behind portable, stationary and automotive fuel cells. Discussing automotive fuel cells will be Matt Fronk, General Motors chief engineer for fuel cell activities research and development at the company's Fuel Cell Activities Center. Other participating companies include Delphi, Eldre, Idatech, Maxwell, Vairex, Voller Energy and others.
James Horowitz, senior analyst at Emerging Energy Research, based in Cambridge, Mass., will deliver the keynote address Thursday morning. Horowitz has extensive energy industry experience, having served as a long-term technician consultant for KeySpan Energy Delivery and having published numerous pieces on fuel cell technology.
