Fraunhofer researchers have developed a micro-fuel cell system, which they claim can run continuosly for six days.

The system is equipped with a DMFC, whose stack was manufactured using an injection molding process.

The fuel cell can achive 2 Watts of power and is re-fuelled with liquid methanol.

The unit can achieve 300 Watt hours, which corresponds to 150 hours of continuous operation.
