Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and Reva Electric Car Company (Private) Limited of Bangalore have come together to produce a unique set of vehicles for use on borders during war operations.

The REVA-DRDO fuel cell car runs on battery and methyl alcohol.

Fuel cells in the vehicle continuously charge the battery and help to extend the vehicle's range and facilitate operations of the electric car in locations where power is not available.
