ReliOn, the leading provider of high reliability fuel cell solutions for backup power applications, announced that Mike Davis, its Chief Technical Officer, has been elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Hydrogen Association. The selection happened during the 15th U.S. Hydrogen Conference and Hydrogen Expo during the last week in April. Davis will serve a term of 2 years.

The National Hydrogen Association (NHA) is a trade membership organization which was founded by a group of ten industry, university/research, and small business members in 1989. Today the NHA's membership has grown to over 90 members, including representatives from the automobile industry; aerospace; federal, state, and local government; energy providers; fuel cell manufacturers and many other industry stakeholders. The NHA serves its members by acting as a catalyst for information exchange and cooperative projects and provides the setting for mutual support among industry, government, and research/academic organizations. The NHA is the premier industry trade association dedicated to developing commercialization pathways and removing the barriers to implementation of hydrogen technologies.

Jeffrey Serfass, President of the NHA said, "The NHA is pleased to have Mr. Davis at the helm. He is an individual who possesses critical business and government experience, and represents a company that is opening up commercial fuel cell markets with products today."

Mike Davis commented, "I am honored to have the opportunity to lead the National Hydrogen Association. The Association's work is essential in enabling both US and Global progress on the beneficial use of hydrogen and fuel cells."
