The London Hydrogen Partnership's Hydrogen Fuel Cell Trailer will be used to power the lights for the crib at St Martin-in-the Fields church in Trafalgar Square on the 19th December between 5pm and 9pm.

The Crib lights will be powered by a hydrogen fuel cell, an efficient form of power supply with no emissions, only water vapour from the exhaust. The trailer provides up to 5kW of power and the event is part of a wider awareness-raising programme to highlight hydrogen and fuel cell technology as a clean and alternative form of energy.

There is a Christmas carol programme at the base of the Christmas tree from 5pm where a variety of groups and charities sing festive carols on the square.
