 News Conference: U.S. Army to take delivery of GM's latest fuel cell vehicle

Sen. Carl Levin, D-Mich. and Sen. Debbie Stabenow, D-Mich. will hold a news conference on Thursday September 21, 2006 with General Motors and the U.S. Army as the Army takes delivery of GM's latest fuel cell vehicle. 

Levin and Stabenow have helped secure funding over the last several years for the development of the fuel cell propulsion technology that powers this vehicle.

The participants for this event will include Army Maj. Gen. Roger Nadeau, commander of the U.S. Army Research and Development and Engineering Command; and Larry Burns, GM vice president for research, development and strategic planning

The news conference will take place at Upper Senate Park, Delaware and Constitution Avenue NE, U.S. Capitol
