| Fuel cell
manufacturer Acta S.p.A. said that it anticipates rapid advances both commercially
and technically in the second half of the year.
The board announced the appointment
of a new chief financial officer, Paul Barritt, and commissioned a new
accounting system in anticipation of rapid growth. It also said the company's
costs and spending are within expectations.
Acta said it continues to make good
progress, increasing customer numbers and hitting a number of key technical
targets.
CEO Paolo Bert said: 'Our growing
team has delivered great progress in almost every area in the first half
of the year. We are very excited that the second half will see significant
technical and commercial advances for both fuel cells and other applications.
