  New England’s First Hydrogen Fueling Station Set To Open July 3rd

Wallingford, Conn.--Proton Energy Systems, Inc., a subsidiary of Distributed Energy Systems Corp. (NASDAQ: DESC) and manufacturer of HOGEN® on-site hydrogen generation systems, has appointed Kyle Cook as Southeast regional sales manager.
 
Cook brings to Proton Energy Systems over 17 years of onsite gas experience with international industry leaders in small to medium sized onsite gas systems.
 
Based in Houston, he is responsible for sales of Proton's HOGEN® hydrogen generators from Texas and Oklahoma east to Florida and as far north as North Carolina. He will focus on four major industrial applications: power plant generator cooling, materials processing (heat treating, annealing, brazing, sintering and powder metallurgy), semiconductor manufacturing (including Metal organic Chemical Vapor Deposition (MOCVD) applications) and laboratory hydrogen.
 
"Kyle's extensive equipment sales training experience, and his knowledge of the advantages of onsite gas usage, will help us provide the appropriate HOGEN generation systems to hydrogen users across a range of industries and applications," said David Wolff, vice president, sales and marketing.
