The concept of the London Oasis project is to restore and reinvigorate people's spirits as they go about their daily urban lives, and is an aspect of the larger "Tranquil Spaces for London" initiative that will be launched this summer. The sculpture varies throughout the day, interacting with both people and the environment. An ultimate goal for the collaboration between IdaTech and the LHP is the introduction of fuel cells on a larger scale in metropolitan London, with the long-term goal of installing one fuel cell system in each of the London boroughs (30 boroughs total) by the year 2012.
