   Japan, US team up for fuel cell and hydrogen tech development

Japan and the USA have signed a memorandum of understanding providing for a regular exchange of technical information relating to fuel cells and hydrogen technical development. 

Japan's New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO) and the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology and the Los Alamos National Laboratory of the USA will conduct a workshop in Aug 2006 in Santa Fe, NM, to tackle topics such as deterioration mechanism of polymer electrolyte fuel cells (PEFC's) and hydrogen storage technology.
