Concours d’Elegance gives people the opportunity to see where personal transportation has been and the California Fuel Cell Partnership shows the public where cars are going. The California Fuel Cell Partnership—a collaboration of 31 member companies including auto manufacturers, energy providers, government agencies, fuel cell technology companies and transit agencies—is committed to educating current and future drivers in California about the potential of hydrogen and its use in fuel cell vehicles. FCVs are zero-emissions vehicles that use an electrochemical reaction between hydrogen and oxygen to create electricity to power a vehicle. The only tailpipe emission is water.
CaFCP is committed to promoting fuel cell vehicle commercialization as a means of moving toward a sustainable energy future, increasing energy efficiency, and reducing or eliminating air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions.
