SEATTLE--Neah Power Systems, Inc., a Nevada corporation (Pink Sheets:NPWS), would like to clarify an assertion made in a press release published this morning wherein the Company's CEO, Mr. Paul Abramowitz was quoted as saying, "I am delighted that we will be able to build upon our past successes to meet our goal of completing the development of our porous silicon fuel cell prototype this year and the production to follow shortly thereafter."

While the company anticipates achieving prototype development by the end of this year, and eventually moving into the production stage of its porous silicon fuel cell thereafter, the Company, nor its CEO, can control the business schedules of its suppliers or partners as well as other variables impacting the Company's current development benchmarks.

Please review the Company's 10SB filed on May 1, 2006 for further information concerning the renewal of the Novellus Collaboration Agreement that was discussed in this morning's release and its specific financial terms, and conditions.
