On June 5, 2006, the 2nd Annual Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Summit is taking place at WPI in Worcester. Massachusetts Congressional Delegation Supports Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Initiatives at Washington, D.C. Briefing

Mr. Bradshaw added, "On Capitol Hill and Beacon Hill, hydrogen is a hot topic these days, being driven by universal discontent over $3/gallon gasoline. On Wednesday, May 17, twelve members of the Massachusetts Hydrogen Coalition provided a briefing for Representative McGovern and staffers representing Rep. Delahunt, Rep. Meehan, Rep. Capuano and Rep. Tierney. Reflecting the importance of developing alternatives to our country's addiction to foreign oil, the U.S. Congress recently passed the H-Prize to accelerate development of fuel cells for transportation. The Coalition also recently met with the Speaker of the House of Representatives in Massachusetts to consider specific transportation related hydrogen and fuel cell legislation.
