Medis Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: MDTL) ("Medis") today announced
its plans to present at several upcoming conferences and provide demonstrations
of its Power Pack fuel cell products in the coming months.

May 5-6, 2004 - Las Vegas, Nevada Mr. Lifton, accompanied by Jacob Weiss, Senior Vice President Business Development, will make a corporate presentation at the Smith Barney Citigroup Small/Mid Cap conference on Thursday, May 6, 2004 at 10:30 a.m. Eastern Time in Las Vegas, NV. The presentation will be webcast and can be accessed through Medis' website at www.medistechnologies.com. May 25-26, 2004 - Beijing, China Representatives of Medis will present at the "Next Generation Telecom China" Conference in Beijing, China, which is expected to host a number of major Chinese telecommunication companies, accessory distributors, retailers and others involved in the Chinese portable electronic devices market. The Company's representatives will discuss Medis' fuel cell technology and demonstrate the Medis disposable Power Pack. The product will operate at full functionality while repeatedly charging a cell phone and a digital camera during this display. June 14-17, 2004 - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Medis Technologies, together with General Dynamics' C4 Division, will present at the "41st Power Sources" Conference in Philadelphia, PA. The Conference is sponsored by U.S. Army Research, Development & Engineering Command Power Centers of Excellence and other Army entities in conjunction with the Air Force, Navy, DARPA, Department of Energy and NASA. Medis will be represented by Gennadi Finkelshtain, General Manager of Medis subsidiary More Energy Ltd., and Jacob Weiss. Mr. Finkelshtain is scheduled to speak about Medis' unique fuel cell technology. The joint demonstrations will show a fully functional Medis refuelable Power Pack operating General Dynamics' ruggedized PDA, which has special capabilities requiring high levels of power. The Power Pack will operate the PDA for many hours before each refueling. June 22, 2004 - San Mateo, California Medis, together with Kensington Technology Group, will present Medis' fuel cell technology and demonstrate the disposable commercial Power Pack operating a cell phone and digital camera with full functionalities. Invitees include OEMs in the hand held device field, including such products as the digital camera and hand held games, as well as specialty retailers and other invitees. On June 23, 2004, Medis will host a similar conference for cell phone service providers and OEMs in the cell phone field. June 24, 2004 - New York, New York Medis will hold a conference in New York City where it will demonstrate its disposable Power Pack and the refuelable Power Pack for the military. Invitees will include interested OEM's and distributors to and representatives of various retail channels. This will also provide an opportunity for investment funds interested in Medis' fuel cell technology to see these products. July 19-20, 2004 - San Francisco, California Medis will present at The Strategic Research Institute (SRI) Energy Technology Investor Conference in San Francisco, California. Michelle Rush, Medis' Vice President of Marketing, will participate on the panel: "Exciting New Technologies in Micro Power." Medis Technologies is involved in the development of highly advanced proprietary technology products primarily related to sources of clean energy for the 21st Century. Medis' primary focus is on direct liquid fuel cell technology. Its business strategy is to license or sell its technologies to, or enter into joint ventures with, large international corporations or sell its products to end users through retail outlets and service providers. In addition to its fuel cell technology, Medis' product pipeline, in varying stages of development, includes inherently conductive polymers, the toroidal engine and compressor and stirling cycle system.
