Concerned About Costs of Gasoline and Utilities? Actor Dennis Weaver Has Your Solutions

America can be free from dependence on the constantly rising cost of gasoline, and America can build completely self-sufficient homes, with no bills for any utilities," says actor Dennis Weaver.

Dennis and his wife Gerry formed the non-profit Institute of Ecolonomics ten years ago. Since then Dennis has become known as the godfather of the hydrogen automobile, and is pioneering ways to "save our planet from pollution and our wallets and fuel gauges from registering EMPTY."

    Two projects now in progress:

    (1) "Dennis Weaver's International Hydrogen Drive 2004" begins in
Los Angeles June 28, travels to Mexico, then goes up the Pacific Coast
through California, Oregon and the state of Washington, arrives in
        Vancouver, Canada, July 10.

The Weavers have been driving hybrid autos and leading "new fuels" caravans crossing the country since 2001.
    (2) April 24, Earth Day, near Taos, New Mexico, Dennis will introduce the
Ecolonomics Yoga and Health Center, where homes may be built that
never require any utilities, including water, electricity, gas or
heat.  Solar and wind power provide part of the answer.  A hydrogen
fueling station for cars is in operation.

All the homes (27 now occupied) will be designed by Michael Reynolds, the world-famed biotect who created "Earthship," the house where the Weavers reside in Ridgway, Colorado.

Named Angel's Nest, this unique New Mexico community also features a yoga "palace" that is rated one of the top 500 structures in the world by Phaidon Press' House Book.

Associated with the 640-acre development are virtually all types of medical, health and dental practitioners, including holistic and yoga specialists. Environmentalists Mr. and Mrs. Robert Plaar are pioneering the entire project.

"Dennis Weaver's International Hydrogen Drive 2004" will utilize hydrogen and other break-through fuels in its caravan. Appearances will be made at all cities en route up the Pacific Coast, and at colleges, schools, community events and rallies. Dennis will drive the lead automobile throughout. Alternative fuel expert Scott Fischler is the executive director of this historic international project.

Famed for such series as "Gunsmoke" and "McCloud," and classic films like Orson Welles' "Touch of Evil" and Spielberg's "Duel," Weaver is now in Disney's $120,000,000 "Home on the Range." He is also being seen daily introducing Starz Encore's "Westerns" series.
