Stuart Energy Systems Corporation
(CA:HHO)
announced today the integration of its global organizational structure
and brand strategy. Consistent with this strategy, the Company is changing
the name of its Belgian-based Vandenborre Hydrogen Systems subsidiary to
Stuart Energy Europe, along with the designation of Stuart Energy India,
Stuart Energy Russia and Stuart Energy China. These companies will continue
to sell Stuart Energy's leading hydrogen infrastructure solutions across
our three key targeted markets: industrial, power and transportation.
"Our employees worldwide have created a strong brand that is one of our most valuable and visible assets. We are committed to expanding the Stuart Energy brand on a global scale, backed by the innovative, high quality products and positive customer experiences that we are known for," commented Jon Slangerup, President and CEO. "This strategy to build global brand equity directly supports our efforts to create awareness, demand and adoption of our industry leading hydrogen infrastructure solutions." Also consistent with strengthening the Stuart Energy brand, the Company is re-branding its Hydrogen Energy Station (HES) product portfolio to "Stuart Energy Station" (SES). The SES solution is comprised of five modules that can be sold individually or combined to form an integrated, turn-key system. These modules include: Hydrogen Generation, Compression, Storage, Fuel Dispenser and Power Modules. Using proprietary Vandenborre IMET(R) cell stack technology, the SES produces and delivers compressed hydrogen for industrial, distributed power and vehicle fueling applications. In addition to offering clean hydrogen, the SES product also has the ability to provide mixtures of hydrogen and natural gas for vehicle fueling. Blending hydrogen with natural gas enables vehicles to run cleaner and is an excellent bridging strategy to the use of zero emission hydrogen fuel. "Our customers can use SES products to serve multiple end-use applications to realize a higher return on their capital investment," said Mr. Slangerup. "We are continuing to build value as a defining attribute of the Stuart Energy brand."
