Today, IdaTech LLC unveiled
its latest portfolio of products and services, including its new back-up
power module, fuelled with stored hydrogen and aimed at replacing traditional
long duration battery back-up systems. IdaTech is now taking advanced inquiries
for the first test and evaluation units.
IdaTech, an IDACORP (NYSE:IDA) subsidiary, has been an exhibitor at the Hannover Industrial Fair for four consecutive years. The event is the largest of its kind in the world and IdaTech will be participating in the Hydrogen and Fuel Cells Exhibition. Each year, IdaTech has progressively expanded its capabilities and partner network in high value fuel cell applications and markets. This year IdaTech extends that reach to include critical back-up systems; enhanced diesel/kerosene integrated fuel cell systems for portable and auxiliary power unit applications; natural gas and LPG-based high purity hydrogen generators for hydrogen refuelling; and industrial applications. "We are excited about the expansion of our solution-based portfolio and especially the deployment of our EtaGen5 combined heat and power high efficiency fuel cell systems in Germany and elsewhere," said Claude Duss, IdaTech president and chief executive officer. "Over the past year we have developed strong partnerships and continue to seek additional partners in selected markets and technologies to further accelerate progress. Additionally, incorporating our proprietary PEM power module into IdaTech fuel cell solutions has greatly extended our ability to offer complete, high performance customer driven solutions." IdaTech has developed advanced fuel cell and hydrogen generation solutions based on its proprietary multi-fuel processing technology and fuel cell system integration expertise. With the support of an expanding partner network, IdaTech's solutions are being deployed globally in selected fuel cell power and hydrogen generation applications, driven by customer needs. IdaTech is a subsidiary of the Boise, Idaho-based energy and technology holding company, IDACORP, Inc. Web site: http://www.idatech.com |
