       Venezuelan government announces US$4.3 billion hydrogen project

Most of the seven-hour official broadcast of the Venezuelan radio and TV show "l Presidente" was devoted to introduction of Science Mission, for the amount of US$4.3 bn.

The guest, Fidel Castro jr., a nuclear engineer, spoke about the need to develop hydrogen as fuel. 

The plan for "mass explosion" of science and technology covers five strategic lines: health, habitat and endogenous development, sovereignty and secured food provision, energy, and security and defense. 
President Hugo Ch¡vez signed before TV cameras the authorization for the expense, mostly from oil revenues
