R. Seshasayee, Vice-President, Confederation of Indian Industry and Managing
Director, Ashok Leyland Ltd, today cautioned the Indian automotive industry
against ending up on the wrong side of the emerging "hydrogen divide."
Speaking
at the valedictory function of the 'International Mobility Engineering
Congress & Exposition', which is an event to showcase India's technology
in the automotive field held by SAE India, Mr Seshasayee observed that
hydrogen powered vehicles could well rule the market in the coming years.
He
said that the Indian automotive industry should familiarise itself with
hydrogen technology and should try to gain leadership position in at least
some aspects of it
