CHICAGO-- nPhase, one of the nation's leading Machine to Machine (M2M) solution providers was selected by Air Products (APD) to provide a customized wireless monitoring solution for use in Air Products' hydrogen fueling station technologies. This solution allows cellular technology to remotely monitor key process measurements such as pressure, temperature, and flow rates at mobile hydrogen fueling locations interfacing with Air Products data acquisition systems.

"As part of a strategy to continue development of leading energy solutions for the future, Air Products has an active role in hydrogen fueling technologies," said Dave Guro, product manager, Future Energy Solutions at Air Products. "Remotely monitoring and managing data from the fueling station is an important feature of our integrated solution. nPhase is a market leader in the M2M space, and its technology will be of great help in making this initiative successful."

"The clean technology space is a natural fit for M2M solutions," says Steve Pazol, CEO of nPhase. "We are very excited to work with Air Products. As more interest is focused on this technology sector, we are hopeful that M2M will become an integral part of other initiatives."

Air Products and nPhase are each members of The Cleantech Venture Network(TM) LLC, a for-profit membership group connecting venture, corporate and institutional investors, entrepreneurs and service providers interested in promoting clean technology. Air Products and nPhase believe this collaborative work on remotely monitored hydrogen fueling stations is an example of the "cleantech" space at work.

"One segment of the cleantech space that I think will have an impact on the emerging energy market is the development of advanced M2M solutions, which have potential to increase energy savings and simultaneously increase resource efficiency," says Nicholas Parker, co-founder and chairman of the Cleantech Venture Network LLC. "The collaboration between innovative companies like Air Products and nPhase is very exciting for this market segment."
