Hillsboro-based ClearEdge Power is now building a variety of strategic relationships to become a profitable participant in the fuel cell market through the production and distribution of silicon based fuel cell systems that are clean, quiet and low cost.

While the name is new, the mission is not, Semler said. ClearEdge Power is developing fuel cell systems for premium and back-up power markets.
