REGINA, SASKATCHEWAN-- Lionel Kambeitz, Chairman and CEO of HTC, today announced the launch of the HTC "Purenergy" brand commercial suite of technologies. The HTC "Purenergy" logo was unveiled at a ceremony held May 16th, 2005, at the University of Regina by Jeff Allison, HTC Director and CFO, and the Hon. Eric Cline, Q.C., Saskatchewan's Minister of Industry and Resources. The Minister spoke of HTC being "a good example of a company going from a research lab to a commercial enterprise, and that Saskatchewan was committed to becoming a world leader in energy research."

The new "Purenergy" brand is expected to become a commercial symbol for HTC's products and services that will be adopted by stationary energy providers such as coal and natural gas plants. The HTC suite of technologies includes methods of capturing CO2 out of coal fired and natural gas fired flu stacks, as well as producing hydrogen for mobile fuel from multi-feedstock carbon sources such as natural gas, while capturing the CO2 as part of the process.

Mr. Kambeitz was quoted as saying "The new HTC "Purenergy" brand will further HTC's next stage of development which is the commercialization of our products and services to provide to the world; carbon clear solutions for our future energy requirements."
