to deliver fuel-cell cars to Aichi, Nagoya, firms

NAGOYA — Toyota Motor Co on Friday will deliver its fuel-cell powered vehicles to the governments of Aichi and Nagoya, the first local authorities to lease the company's fuel-cell cars. Toyota also plans to deliver fuel-cell cars to its first corporate customers, including Tokyo Gas Co, Nippon Oil Corp, and Toho Gas Co, later in the day. Aichi Gov Masaaki Kanda and Toyota Vice Chairman Iwao Isomura are among dignitaries expected at the delivery ceremony to be held at Aichi prefectural government office Friday morning. (Kyodo News)
