Public-private collaboration to bring pollution-free luggage tugs to airport

TALLAHASSEE – The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), Delta Airlines, Ford Motor Company, Tug Technologies and the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority will unveil a partnership to deliver pollution-free baggage tugs to Orlando International Airport.

Senator Lee Constantine and Representative Adam Hasner will join DEP Deputy Secretary for Regulatory Programs and Energy Allan Bedwell and representatives from Ford, Delta and Tug Technologies to unveil the hydrogen-powered tow tractors that will operate at one of Florida’s busiest airports.
