| On June 3,
2005, a Hydrogen Development & Safety Seminar will be held as a collaborative
effort between the National Science Foundation and the Advanced Transportation
Technology Initiative of the California Community Colleges Economic &
Workforce Development Program. The workshop will provide an introduction
and overview of the opportunities and challenges that California faces
as it undertakes the conversion to a Hydrogen-based economy.
Hydrogen industry professionals will
present on a variety of subjects with the central theme being Hydrogen
Development Issues, Safety and Handling, Codes & Standards, Fuel Production
and Dispensing, Fueling Facility Permitting and Construction, as well as
other key issues. Additionally, a decision making tool will be presented
that fleet managers and administrators may use to help assess the preparation
necessary for adding hydrogen vehicles to their fleets. For more information
