REGINA, SASKATCHEWAN-- HTC Hydrogen Technologies Corp. (CA:HTC) ("HTC" or "the Corporation") announced today that they were pleased to host the Hon. Stephane Dion - Canada's Environment Minister, who was on hand to inspect the Greenhouse Gas Technology Centre, to view the recent accomplishments of the University of Regina and HTC with regard to Hydrogen Production and CO2 Capture Technologies.

CO2 Capture (Greenhouse Gas reduction) is at the top of the Canadian Government's agenda these days, with the ratification of the Kyoto Protocol now officially in effect in Canada. The University of Regina and HTC are recognized leaders in greenhouse gas reduction technologies.

Mr. Dion is quoted as saying:

"It's only a matter of how many mega-tons of CO2 we are going to be capturing, and how many mega-tons of money we can make from selling the technology"
