SUN VALLEY, Calif.-- Harvest Energy Technology, Inc. (HET) (http://www.harvest-technology.com) continues its role as the prime source for the supply of natural gas-based distributed hydrogen generation technology for hydrogen refueling applications.

HET will supply its proprietary Methane Steam Reformer (SMR) hydrogen generator to be integrated into a hydrogen energy station that will be built by ChevronTexaco Hydrogen Company for the Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District (http://www.actransit.org/environment) at their Seminary facility in Oakland, California. The station is scheduled for opening in the fall of 2005. The HET hydrogen generator was selected following field tests conducted in 2004 at the ChevronTexaco Montebello Technology Center.

HET will supply its proprietary high pressure SMR fuel processor to Hydrogenics Corporation (http://www.hydrogenics.com) under contract to ChevronTexaco for testing in mid-2005.

HET cooperated with Air Products to construct the first natural gas-based hydrogen generator for demonstration within a distributed hydrogen fueling station in the United States. The fueling station, provided by Air Products under cooperative agreement with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), is located in Las Vegas, NV and was dedicated in November 2002. Air Products (http://www.airproducts.com) recently contracted HET to provide the fuel processor as part of a next generation hydrogen generator and fueling station. The DOE project will be located by Air Products at Penn State University and is scheduled to be operational in late 2005.

HET will assemble and test a hydrogen generator for The Boeing Company in 2005 (http://www.boeing.com/assocproducts/energy/compact_hyd.html). The Boeing Company proprietary hydrogen generator is a forward looking technology that can offer significant economic benefits for refinery and centralized hydrogen generation applications.
