Publication Date:31-January-2005
Source: Europe Intelligence Wire
The Brussels-based European Hydrogen Association (EHA) has admitted six companies as members following statutory changes permitting direct company membership.

The six companies are Air Liquide (France), Air Products (United Kingdom), British Oxygen Company Ltd - BOC (United Kingdom), Norsk Hydro (Norway), EHN (Spain) and Shell Hydrogen (Netherlands).

The EHA's new mission is to foster the development of hydrogen technologies and their utilisation in industrial, commercial, and consumer applications and to promote the role of hydrogen in the energy field in Europe.

The European Hydrogen Association was founded in January 2000, and gathers six national associations (France, Italy, Norway, Sweden, Germany and Spain). It decided on a policy of greater visibility and a budget increase at its last extraordinary general assembly.
