Norsk Hydro provided the equipment for hydrogen gas production at the world's biggest hydrogen filling station, which is a segment of the Aral chain.

The facility is located at Messedamm near the Berlin central bus station and officially opened on 12 Nov 2004.

The company has collaborated with eight other firms under the Clean Energy Partnership project, which is aimed at showing that hydrogen can be used as a daily fuel with a foresight of future sustainable mobility.
