  Yellowstone Park Prius
Publication Date:02-January-2005
Source:Toyota
This past summer, Toyota donated four 2004 Priuses with Hybrid Synergy Drive to Yellowstone National Park Foundation. As you may know, Toyota has this amazing technology that combines a highly efficient gasoline engine with an electric motor. It never needs plugging in.
Yellowstone National Park encourages sustainable energy practices and works to educate the public about them. Prius' outstanding fuel efficiency and "Partial Zero Emissions" make it the perfect partner. Now, rangers who interact with the park's 3 million annual visitors drive the Prius in Yellowstone. It's a partnership that's right for the environment.
